Add all scores that relate to an applicant number then rank

I am creating a form to rank grant applications. I need to total all the points from various judges for each applicant, then rank them.

This is an example of the data from sheet one:

09.27.2016-13.47.30 - GRogne1's library

And this is sheet two:

09.27.2016-13.46.43 - GRogne1's library

What formula do I use to sum all the points associated with a particular applicant number? For example, I need the totals for all the rows that have applicant number 1, then applicant number 2, then I want to rank them.

Okay, hoping you can help me fix what I have above. What do I put in the field where I have the "1" to find any matching number and sum it? Like so it does it automatically for all the 2's, 3's etc?

Use sumif not sumifs

=sumif(Results!$C$2:$C$500,A2 Results!$Q$2:$Q$500)

then fill down.
