add addin to ribbon

Hi all,

I am new to excel programming.
I want to know can I add addin(mecros like thing create using VBA) to ribbon of EXCEL 2010.I did not want run like mecros.That addin should load with excel.

Pls help me.Can I do this using VBA.If not what is the method?
