I have a row of text from A-O and want to add a link part way through where the http:// bit starts
Have tried to change the width of the text, to free a cell for the link but can't.

Also tried format painter from another row that has a link, but it didn't work.
Can anyone explain how it;s done please.

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
Thanks, but need a bit more. That changed the whole row into blue/underline.
The first part needs to be normal text. How can I split or size the cells so only the link part is underlined?

With over 2,000 posts surely you know that helpers do too. ;)
They like, and can work better with, sample data. We really have no idea what yours is like.
A cell cannot have part hyperlink and part not hyperlink, though you can make it look like only part is hyperlinked by formatting colour/underline etc sections of the text in the cell.

I do assume people here know a lot more than I do. I can only describe things the best I can. I'm not Mr. Excel!
If the link works and the text looks like text, that'll do.
It's a row in a worksheet and I've described it in msg1. One cell highlighted when clicked as using Cols A-O.
There are other rows in the sheet with this. Clicking on them shows text uses Col A-L. The link is M-O.
But it won't format paint and let me duplicate that.
