ActiveX Size and Font problem

One ActiveX worksheet control changes size without apparent cause. It is the same workbook but different people have different experiences.
  • It works for some people on W7 / XP but not others on W7 / XP
  • It works on different monitors with different resolutions but not on some PCs with the exact same monitor and settings
  • It works on machines that have different "References" and fails on those that the are exactly the same (VBA code page -> Tool -> References )
  • It works on my 64 bit machine and some 32 bit but not others
  • We are all on Excel 2010, same version, same patch level
  • There are no add-ins in use
When it malfunctions, it is consistent - the right edge extends over another ListBox otherwise it looks just like it should.

I explicitly defined the Height, Width, Top and Left dimensions in the "Worksheet Open Event" and that resulted in the correct boundaries BUT caused the font to shrink! I've seen a number of posts with similar issues but not any solutions.

I doubt it is the code (which I could post but it is lengthy).

Any ideas? I'm baffled.

Thanks

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
