Hello,

Since the last few days, I am unable to use Activex controls in Excel 2003 and Excel 2007 on my system, which is also the case with my colleagues. I can't insert objects either as it gives me "Cannot insert object." error. This is working fine in Excel 2010. Below is what I've already tried based on other forums/ websites:

1. Removed the .exd/ temp files.
2. Re-installed/ repaired MS Office installation.

My Excel version is MS Office Excel 2007 (12.0.4518.1014) MSO (12.0.4518.1014). Can someone please help me with this?

Thanks,
Dhaval Sadaiya.

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
