ActiveX control can't create object.....HELP!

Hello, I'm not sure what I've done to deserve this... but suddenly, I can no longer create new databases, forms, etc in Access....I keep getting the error, "ActiveX control can't create object"....

Any ideas???? HELP!

Your message would indicate that you are using VBA code. Is that the case? If so, then please post your code so we know what you're talking about

Hmmm....I get this error when I try to create a new Access database from the standard templates that came with the program....as far as I know...I don't have any VB running....do I?

I would try reinstalling your Office or Access software. If your getting errors from trying to create a blank database, then your Access setup sounds corrupt.

yes it was currupt.....

It turns out that you are correct...I went to the Microsoft help site and I had to reinstall certain files....
