Hello Everyone,

I can't seem to resolve the issues I am having with ActiveX Command Buttons.

I have created a form which has hidden rows which are unhidden when the appropriate choice is made.
Each row of the form has a command button(s).
The buttons on the hidded rows seem to have 'placeholder' ghosts that show when the row is hidden.
They also shift and resize on their own. How do I erase the 'ghosts' and keep the buttons from moving.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't seem to find a viable solution.:confused::help:

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
I've been watching this issue and hoping for a solution for awhile. http://www.mrexcel.com/forum/excel-questions/610412-active-x-control-error.html

What I've done is this:

Never put activeX controls in a spreadsheet, but always on a form
Use the data validation List option as a substitute for a dropdown box on a spreadsheet
Connect macros to shapes, rather than control buttons. Shapes seem stable and look like buttons.

Using one or more of the above avoids the problem. Active x controls simply are not stable on a spreadsheet. Its a bug.

Thanks for the response. I will try the shape idea as this project is driving me bonkers. I started with object buttons and they were radical so I changed them to command buttons.
The buttons on the unhidden rows work perfectly but the hidden rows are all over the place. Again, thanks for the suggestion.
