Hello All,
Can you pass the date selection from a ActiveX calendar to a textbox on a form?

I have tried passing the control with an afterupdate statement at the form level but nothing :eek:

Any ideas?

Thanks

Dan

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Hi!

I believe you need to make a field in the table to which the form housing the Calandar Control is linked, then right-click on the Control and select properties, and set the Calandar's control source to this new field. Then insert a textbox on the form, and set its control source to the new field.

Then add the following code to keep the textbox fresh:

Code:
Private Sub ActiveXCtl0_AfterUpdate()

Text1.SetFocus

End Sub

Thanks Corticus! You got me on the right direction. Putting the date in a table is so simple yet was so far from me earlier!

Thanks Again
