Hi Guys,

I'm looking to try and get an ActiveX button to display the time a which it was pressed. It is for a status board that will indicate when an action was done (the button will then be pressed). It's for a ship and the ship travels to different time zones so there will be another button indicating how many hours ahead of behind UTC the ship is.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Many Thanks,

Tom

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Hi Tom,

Try adding this code to your ActiveX button's Click event:

Code:
Worksheets("Sheet1").cmdTimeClicked.Caption = Format(Time, "h:mm:ss AM/PM")

change the worksheet name and button name (cmdTimeClicked) to suit your setup.

Hope this helps,

Chris
