Hello All, I've been having an issue with a certain ActiveX command button.

This certain button (Name) property will not save with the workbook. I name it, save the workbook, and reopen th workbook only to find that the name has been reset to a default button name value.

I've tried deleting that certain button and recreating a button with the same name, but the new button's name won't save either.

I have other ActiveX controls in the same worksheet; their names save just fine.

...any suggestions?

All help is very much appreciated.

Thanks.

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
...think that I might have finally figured it out. I think my name was too long--"Print_and_Record_Sales_Receipt_Button". I changed it to something shorter, and it saves now.
