Hi.

I have a workbook with about 140 sheets. I would like to have a macro that activates one of those sheets, based on their name selected from a drop down cell.

Example:
I have a drop down cell with pre defined names (for instance A, B or C). I have three sheets named the same (A,B or C). I would like to select A,B or C from the drop down cell and then run the macro so that the sheet with the same name gets activated.

This is a part of a larger macro..

Please help.

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
Hi,

You often don't need to select or activate sheets before working with them, but you can try something like this:

Code:
Sub example()

    Dim strSht As String

    strSht = Sheets("Sheet1").Range("A1").Value2
    Sheets(strSht).Activate ' or .Select

End Sub
