Accessing info from a particular record in VBA

Hi, I'm trying to create a procedure that will send out an e-mail that is contained in a record. I have several tables that are linked, one of the tables is tblManagers, which is linked to tblDept. When the user that belongs to a particular department fills out the form and clicks send e-mail, I want to send out a generic e-mail to whomever is or are Managers of that particular department. Any ideas? You're help will be greatly appreciated!

Take a look at the SendObject Method within the helpfiles

DoCmd.SendObject [objecttype][, objectname][, outputformat][, to][, cc][, bcc][, subject][, messagetext][, editmessage][, templatefile]

This will work, but it's not the only method.
