Hi, everyone!

I would like you guys to help me a little with this one.
any ideas of how to update information in related tables in a database so that i don't have to reopen them? anyone?

thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
thank you for your reply!

i already have them linked.
if i understand you correctly you mean to create a relationship between the corresponding tables, right?

let me make this a little bit easier.
i have 2 tables Orders and Customers with relationship using primary key from the Customers table to respective field in table Orders.
when i enter new data in Orders (suppose i have new customer that isn't included in Customers). so i have to open Customers table then enter the new customer data and then close the Orders table to open it instantly after that because only then i see that the new Customer is in dropdown box in Orders table.

i don't know. i suppose the lookup is the core of the problem. what do you think?
