Access want me to enter a parameter value?

I've narrowed the problem to the Criteria in my Query:

Like Nz([Forms]![frmSearchGrowerPounds]![cmbGrowers],"*")

Like Nz([Forms]![frmSearchGrowerPounds]![txtDate],"*")

Is there something wrong here?

frmSearchGrowerPounds is a pop up dialogue with a combo box called cmbGrowers and text box called txtDate.

Any ideas?
