Access vba to loop through files

[learning vba]

Hello,

I want to write a vba which will loop though all the folders listed in "Folder_Tbl" and update the information in Cust_Table.

the entire file path is present in the "Path" field in my "Folder_Tbl"

If anyone knows a vba for this it would be very very helpful. I tried couple of vba codes but dont know how to pull a string from a table to be used in vba.

Looks like you need to select the cell that contains the table and then you can use it like a list object:

You can use DLookup to look up a string in a table:

How are the tables linked and how do you want to update Cust_Table?

yes. the data is on one of the sheet. (named range) which matches the cust_tbl in ms access

hi guys. I'm now able to pull the path info in vba. but it gives me an erroe wile opening the file. it say path jot found
