Access VBA code in corrupted workbook

Incidentally, I've saved my Excel .XLSM Workbook with 2 macros with the absolutely same name. Forgot to rename the macro copy. Now, I can't open that workbook. Simple, no way! Is any way for this problem to be solved? Maybe to export codes to bases or text from another book? I am really, really(!!!) desperate. Need to save many hours of repeated works.

Thanks in advance.

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Hi & welcome to MrExcel.
Try opening the file in safe mode.

I tried everything... if you mean Protected view - file is opened but VBA is inaccessible. Opening with shift are not works too.

I've just create the new workbook and repeated the same (2 macros with the same name.) Book is opening normally with warning "Ambitious name detected" and focus jumipnig to the wrong named macro. Unfortunately, that is not the case with my book. I can post it here... maybe someone had the same problem and can help? XLSM workbook were converted to XLSX correctly (they opened it somehow???) from some online resource. Now I just need the codes from VBA Project.

Do you have any macros that run automatically when the workbook opens?

No Fluff. Actually, I have few but all of them are commented. I have call on that macros on the one Worksheet acting by using double mouse click... In test WB I did the same but test file is easily opened. Do you think I should post problematic file here? Or upload somewhere with link here?

If there are no macros that run when opening the file, you should not have a problem. If you can't open the file I doubt it's because you have two macros with the same.

Now I am wondering too... all worked perfect a minute before I closed it with copied macro... I haven't active automacros but I have TODAY() formula in one cell. That Today ask me always will I save changes or not. Even if I just open the book and asap close it. Maybe that has something to do with problem? I've turned automatically calculations to manually without results. Workbook stops to works after that warning about ambiguous name detected. Protected view can open the book but if I touch anything - Excel don't response. VBA code is inaccessible.
