I stuck this in the lounge because it's more of a discussion question then an Access/Excel question. :-D

In the next year (possibly 2) out company is looking at needing to upsize form a complex Access Database to a SQL back-end with a web front end. I would like to be ahead of this trend so when the conversion happens I can adequetly take charge of it. I have apx 3 months to prepare before we start laying out a project plan. Is there a cert that would cover converting and devoloping the back-end? Is a cert overkill? Is there a recommended web-based frontend?

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
Hi Oorang,

Google on "sql web interface". You can take a number of software solutions for a test drive.

lol That is step I have had the good sense to take. I was looking more for general opinions on what products that people have personally liked.

Aha! Back in my box...

I haven't built a SQL front end yet. giacomo could be helpful on this one.
