I have a worksheet that is hidden (xlsheetveryhidden). Is there a way to add and read data from this sheet while its hidden--without constantly hide and unhide it??

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
Sure, sheets don't need to be visible to work with them. E.G. Sheet1!A1 will return a value even if Sheet1 is veryhidden.

You can read/write to a very hidden sheet in VBA just as you would any other sheet. The key is not selecting/activating. ;)

Yes, absolutely.

Code:
Sub foo()
    'hide sheet1
    Sheet1.Visible = xlSheetVeryHidden

    'write a value to a cell on sheet1
    Sheet1.Range("A1").Value = "hello"

    'read a value from a cell on sheet1
    MsgBox Sheet1.Range("A1").Value

End Sub

Are you having problems with a particular line of code?
