I created a link and access to a SharePoint list table. I was able to replace it the first time with an Excel file. After wiping the data out but leaving the headers I tried to import the same Excel file but I'm receiving a subscript error now. Why would that be the case? I did not make any changes to the file?

Okay sorry I figured the problem out on my own. Apparently access is very finicky and I need to run a database tools compact and repair in order to import that file. It worked after that..figures.

Access has a database limit size of 2 GB. If you exceed that, you will run into issues.
Note that when you delete data or objects in Access, they really are not deleted until you run a "Compact and Repair" (you will note that deleting data on its own does not reduce the size of the DB).
So if you are doing lots of deleting of data, you will want to be sure to run a "Compact and Repair" on your database to keep it running lean.
