Hi everyone. Is it possible to keep people from opening a database in Exclusive mode without assigning workgroups? I've put a password on the database, but if you don't know the password, you can't open the database. Is there an option like there is in Excel to allow someone to open say as "read-only".

Thanks for your help...

Dave M.

P.S. I'm a bi-lingual illiterate when it comes to Access...
