I'm having a problem with the format of a combo box on a form.

The combo box gets its data from a table with a data type of date/time and format of Medium Time.

If I try to format the combo box to Medium Time, I get the error, "The value you entered isn't valid for this field." If I remove the format, the combo box works fine.

However, I'm also trying to add a record to a table where the format for that column is Medium time. If I try to add the time value that isn't formatted, I get the error, "Data type conversion error."

Where am I going wrong? I'm trying to get the data types to match, but I can't figure out where to make a change: in the combo box, the table the combo box pulls from, or the table I'm trying to write to?
