I find the Mr. Excel books great. Is there a Mr. Access outr there? And are there books put out by him/her? Also, would you recommend some good advanced books on learning access programming? thanks

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
I have found "Beginning Access 2000 VBA" published by Wrox Press (authored by Robert Smith & David Sussman) very helpful.

In general, I find the "WROX" and "Sam's Teach Yourself..." books to be extremely effective programming material; their Access for developer's books are both very good.

Hey, I use that same book(s)!

Sam's Teach Yourself SQL, and WROX Beginning Access 2000 (what kind of "beginning" book is 831 pages?!?)

Good stuff, my only gripe would be that the index in the Access book is LAME, but that's just MHO.
