If i default a date field to today (now()) does the new record always have that date in it or when i look at that record tomorrow does it change to tomorrows date? I dont want it to change.

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
It should keep the date that the record was added and the default was applied.
The default value is just the value that gets applied when the record was added. It adds the actual value, not a formula. So it shouldn't change.
