Hi All

Does any one know if it's possible for Access to write a unique reference to a PDF?

Just to give a bit of background, when we place a purchase order we use a standard spec for that part which is a PDF, we then manually add the purchase order reference to the PDF and send it to the manufacturer.

This obviously is a very manual process so was hoping it would be possible for access to add the unique reference to the PDF, that way we could attach the Spec to the part code in Access and when it's added to a Purchase order it would write the number on it each time.

Many Thanks

Steve

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
I've looked in the past, but never found a way to edit a pdf from Access. The pdf would have to be an on-line type of form (one that you can fill out on a computer) and the pdf object model would have to be exposed to Access.

In your case, you may want to replicate the pdf as an Access report, which you could easily edit using Access data, then output the report to a pdf.
