I have an Access 97 Database that I've converted to XP. When running it in XP, I get error messages about the following reference libraries being missing:

Graphitti User Interface Controls (grctrl.ocx)
ICDataFlow Active X Control Module (icdata.olb?)
ActiveEx Type Library (activeex.dll)

Should I simply uncheck these libraries? Or do I need to go find these libraries and install them with my version of Access XP?

In a word, maybe. Unless they're unneeded references, you're going to have to add them. From the VBA editor under Tools-References either find the correct reference or 'browse' to find them.

You might also try:

If they don't exist (Start Menu - Search is a good starting point) you will need to add them to the machine.

I'm not familiar with what any of them do. It's possible that one or more has a more up_to_date version that is in XP. You'll have to look. Yanking them off another machine ought to work though.

So if I uncheck all the missing references, and then compile all the modules, and don't get any errors...I should be ok, right?
