Good Evening to all,

I have a table that has 12 fields in it.
I want to create a form with tabbed subforms with 3 tabs in it.
I want the same form to appear in all 4 tabs but different fields in each tab

IE

Tab 1 Fields 1,2,3,4,5,6
Tab 2 Fields 1,2,3,7,8,9
Tab 3 Fields 1,2,3,10,11,12
Tab 4 Fields 1,2,3,6,9,12

Can this be done and if so can anyone point me in the right direction
Is there anything i need to look for when i design my database.

Many Thanks in Advance

Steve

Excel Facts

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
How are you using the forms? Are you not using the forms for inputting data? Where is your data coming from and why the different tabs?

AFAIK, you can't bust up one form into pieces and put them on a tabs, especially if you're referring to the tab view for forms. However, you can put the common or 'header' controls on a main form and use a tab control to hold 3 or 4 related subforms if you want to maintain a relationship between the tabs and main form. Another option is to use a split form, but I don't suppose that's what you're after.

Steve,

You may be able to do it all with a single for and tab control.

You can have multiple controls bound to the same field int he form's recordset.

Example:

Tab 1 Textbox11 bound to Field1
Tab 2 Textbox21 bound to Field1
Tab 3 Textbox31 bound to Field1
Tab 4 Textbox41 bound to Field1

You can layout the controls on each table as needed.
