access 2007 and access 2013

I have an access 2007 file that I obtained from a user. I placed this access database file on my computer, found the immediate window, and typed in ?version. I was told that the version is 15.0 which is access 2013? Thus was this file converted for me from Access 2007 to Access 2013? If so, how would this conversion have happened?

?Version returns the current application (i.e. Access) version, not the version of the file.
