I have been using Microsoft Access for several years. I feel comfortable creating simple tables, forms, reports and macros with it. I now want to learn Access VBA programming and advanced query design using SQL in Access. If anyone can recommend some good books about these topics, that would be great. (The latest version of Access I have is 2003 and I doubt if I will upgrade to a newer version soon.) I hope this is the right forum to ask about this. If it isn't, please let me know. Thank you very much.

Sincerely,

- Tom

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
Tom, the Access 2003 VBA Programmer's Reference (Cardoza, Hennig, Seach and Stein) is good.
As for the SQL part there are quite a few resources out there. One that I like is Simply SQL by Rudy Limeback. It's not intended for Access (it's actually more web-oriented) but describes the structure of SQL (and how to optimise it) better than most.
