Hello,

I am trying to import a 2000 DB into a 2007/2010 DB. I got an error saying "Cannot open data base. It may not be a database that your application recognizes, or the file may be corrupt."

I tried to repair both databases.

Does anyone know how to convert a 2000 to a 2007/2010 data base?

Thanks,

JV

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Is there anything in the 2000 database that isn't available in 2010? Have you also tried to create a new database and import all the database elements from the 2000 database!!

Hi Trevor, Thanks for the quick response.

It's just a large table. How do I import the elements?

Use the external data tab and on the left Import from Access then select the database and table and it should work.
