Hello all,

I am using Excel 2010 in compatibility mode with Excel 2003.

I have a #VALUE error that has occurred in one cell out of literally thousands of cells that are set up in exactly the same manner.

The source data is the same, the formulas used are the same, the cell formats are the same.

I cannot see why this one cell should throw up an error while all the others function OK!

Has anyone had a similar problem and if so how did you resolve it?

Thanks,

That's like saying "Doctor I feel ill, what do you think it could be?"

What's the formula you're using?

What's the formula you're using?

=g47*0.95

Notes
1 - cell g47 is same as cells g7 to g65 on this worksheet - they have no problem.

2 - this worksheet is one of 132 'cloned' worksheets and g47*0.95 works on all others!

3 - =sum(g47*0.95)does not make a difference .

Hello Jim,

Fixed it.

The original source data is provided by link into a worksheet which is where all other sheets get their data.

I found that the link in one cell (of 27840) was not working

I opened the original source data workbook then copied and Re-paste/linked that one cell and it worked.

Why on earth jut one cell out of so many failed is beyond me!

Still, it is fixed now, so I'll just move on.

Thanks for taking the time to help me.
