Okay a big thankyou to the following people, who over the course of a few threads have contributed suggestions, and coding advice and examples for me.
I am pleased to say that the first project I worked on, was completed, and the person who it was created for is extremely happy with the end result, and it has shown immediate benefits to his daily tasks.
The second project is also nearing completion, and I am learning a heap of stuff while creating.
