I have a question towards the most experienced spreadsheet users.
I would like to know when several interesting functions first appeared in spreadsheets. I do not restrict my question to the successive versions of Excel, I am equally interested in Visicalc and Lotus 1-2-3 and their versions.
So here comes the list, where I am mostly interested in the functionality, and not the particular name of the function:
References to texts about the history of spreadsheets will be also very much appreciated.
Best regards,
J.Ty.

So here comes the list, where I am mostly interested in the functionality, and not the particular name of the function:
- INDEX (or equivalent)
- OFFSET or INDIRECT (or equivalent)
- LOOKUP (or equivalent, search in ordered data)
- VLOOKUP (or equivalent, search in unordered data)
- MATCH (or equivalent, search in unordered data returning the position)
- SUMIF and COUNTIF (or equivalents)
References to texts about the history of spreadsheets will be also very much appreciated.
