Hi all,

My problem is the following. In a production company teams work in shifts. In the end of the shift, the production results on multiple machines must be entered. So I have created the tables with one-to-many relationship

SHIFT
Shift ID (Autonumber)
Team
Time
Date

and

PRODUCTION
Shift Id (Number)
Machine ID
Amount
Quality
etc

I have also created a subform where in the header Team, Time and Date is entered and after that comes the data for each machine.

The idea is that each time a new record should be created in SHIFT table and the new Shift ID as well but it doesn't happen so. Also I would like to see that the production subform starts as a clean sheet. At the moment I can see the existing records I dont want to be displayed.

Obviously I am missing something :(

TIA
Priit
