Hi there,

How do I make a formula that is directly affected by something else in the formula.

IE, I want to add 2% onto a figure, but then add another 2% onto the total of the first sum.

For example

(1000*1.02)the total of this sum*1.02

Thanks

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
as far as I know you cannot use variables in formula, so you have to copy the formula recursively or have the result in other cell

olimajor123,

Forgive me if I'm missing the point here but does that not just equate to...

=1000*1.02*1.02 ?

Nope, that works. Haha.

Apologies for wasting your time! I was clearly too caught up in thinking I needed a formula for it to realise it was that straight forward! Thanks
