I created a 3D rectangular shape filled with pale orange color. However, the color of the edge is quite dark. I have changed every color I could find in the property but the dark color persisted. Any way to change the edge color?

As far as I know you cannot change the colour of the shadow.

Thanks for the reply. Hope Microsoft would improve it.

I might be misunderstanding the question, but....Select the shape>>Rclick>>Format Shape>>Shape Options>>Shadow>>Adjust accordingly
Don't know if this applies to 2010

Thanks for the reply. Once the steps you suggested are done, go to 3-D Format>Bevel>Top>Height and adjust the number. The color is always blueish. I can't change that color to orange.

I don't believe the Bevel can be changed, only the shadow !
