Hi
Sorry if this off topics. I am planning to buy 32 inch monitor mainly to open more excel files and see more. I have read that 32 inch monitor might not be good to display text but good for images. Do you have any experience with 32 monitor and excel? Thank you very much.

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
It depends on the resolution of the monitor. I have a very wide monitor, somewhere around 32. The pixels on mine are quite large so it seems grainy. If I had the money I would buy two monitors with very small bezels (edges) instead of one large monitor. You can get higher resolution monitors that may display text better. I also think it's easier to dock windows on two monitors rather than one large one.

An alternative advantage of a larger monitor is that you can put if further away if your workspace accommodates, which is easier on your eyeballcules.

My conundrum is that I have computer glasses that let me read at a certain distance. If I push the monitor further away, it gets blurry. If I move it closer, it gets grainy.

Oh the pleasures of getting old!
