As far as I'm aware, a program developed in a 32 bit version of Excel, which contains an ActiveX object, would not work in a 64 bit version of Excel.

Therefore, I reluctantly have to use the Forms controls, eg buttons and drop down boxes, which I feel are less sophisticated.

Can someone tell me if the controls found on a Userform, (ie in the VB editor, choose Insert -> UserForm then choose View -> Toolbox) are ActiveX controls or not?

If not, can I assume they will work on any version of Excel, be it 32 bit or 64 bit?

Thanks

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
As far as I know ActiveX controls work on 64bit versions of Xl, although I would advise against using them as they are notoriously flaky.
And Userforms also work quite happily on 64bit versions.
