3 way lookup excel table help

Hello, I apologize if a similar question was already posted but I couldn't find one. Sample table shown below, the real table is much larger but same general format. I am reading in a given value off a different sheet that corresponds to a labeled name in column A. Based on this, I am trying to determine which corresponding row has a number (quantity), what that number is, and what the corresponding name is in row 1.

For example, I might read in B_25, and I am hoping to find a way to tell me that for B_25, Name_2 has a quantity of 3, and Name_4 has a quantity of 2.

I'm hoping to do this without using indirect because it's volatile and the sheet is very large, but haven't had luck with index/match because there may be more than one value in each row, I don't know right away what the value is going to be, the value might be the same or different as the other values in the same row, and I can't search for the name in row 1 because it is the end result. Hopefully this makes sense, I would love any insight anyone could provide on if this is possible and how I might go about doing it. Would be happy to clarify my problem further as well.

The I and J formulas could be incorporated into the K and L formulas, but that would be more inefficient and unwieldy. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the fast reply! Just to clarify, in your J2 array formula, should the J1 right at the beginning of the formula be I2 or H2 instead? J1 is just the column label. Want to make sure i'm understanding this correctly.

Yes, it is actually supposed to be J1. And if you don't have a label in J1, the formula won't work. The reason I used J1 is for performance reasons. These array formulas can be computation intensive, and if there's a way to keep it from calculating when you don't need to, it could be a good idea to do it. In this case, the IFERROR in the middle will return a "" if there are no more matches. Then the formula on the row below it checks the row above, and if it's a "", then it immediately quits and doesn't do any more of the array processing. For the formula in J2, which checks J1, the check doesn't do much, and looks a bit odd, but it helps with the lower rows. Some people create another formula in another cell that calculates how many matches there are, and do something like:

=IF(ROWS($C$2:$C2)>Z1,"", ...)

but I prefer not to create an additional formula. Or you could just use the formula like this:

=IFERROR(SMALL(IF(INDEX($B$2:$F$7,$I$2,0)<>"",COLUMN($B$1:$F$1)-COLUMN($B$1)+1),ROWS($J$2:$J2)),"")

if you don't have a lot of formulas to slow down the sheet. I hope this makes sense!
