Hi guys,

I have a two-sheet workbook. In the first sheet I have a list of companies (A), and revenue (B). I want to add a third column and to look for the number of cards the company bought for the first time (second sheet). In the second sheet we have (A) companies, (B to AA), number of cards against each company. Columns B to AA are months and years.
So let say one company has started working on January = column B, February = Column C, etc, before the starting month all cells are blank (not exactly since they are vlookuped from another sheet but without a value).
How could I find the first non-blank and its value after vlookuping the company?

I hope I am clear enough.
Thanks in advance,
Philip

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
