I am using this for criteria in a query.

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
I mean >#12/31/&Year(Date())-1#

greater than last year

I need the year to equal the current year if not the record should not show up.

Year(Date()) doesn't seem to work either

Hi Jay,
Use the immediate window to see what functions return until you get a grip on them. If the field is fldSomeDate then Year([fldSomeDate]) > (Year(Date()) -1) should work without the 12/31 stuff.
