whole number

In my use of formulas when calculating numbers from a live data feed. Negative numbers are important, however I am looking for a method to remove the polarity of a number and have it represented as a whole positive number regardless if it was previously negative? Can some one help? Thanks

I am using Numbers on my Mac. I want to add a range of all cells, but not include any negative values. I was thinking sumifs, but not sure how it works, or if that is the way to do it. please help. Sorry, I know this is simple. I did a quick search, but didn’t find anything.
