    Reduce the quantity of calculations

    I have a very large excel. I have countifs that verify if something is in two categories but, there is a lot of blank cells. I was thinking about adding sthg like : =if( cells blank ; 0 or null or something ; countifs( )) Would it be possible, and more important, would it reduce the quantity...

    A different formula similar to an If statement

    I make use of the If statement a lot and sometimes the formula returns a 0. When the main formula returns a zero I want it to show the dash character so I usually make a formula like this: =If(*Formula* = 0,"-",*Formula*) My main question is if there is a way to not have to repeat the formula...
