    Force Excel not to make calculation

    Hi, I have a large Excel with a lot of data that requires a lot of calculation. The issue is that I can't even open it without freezing and have an message Excel not responding. Is there a way for me to open Excel without really open it to switch from auto calculation to manual calculation ?
