    Counting number of Times a number appears and depending on how many other numbers in the cell it receives a value.

    Counting Items with extra letter

    I'm looking for the "simplest formula" to count serial numbers that may have an extra letter at the end: 12345 23456 45678 45678A 45678B 57198 67895 59876A 89756 98756 Even though there are 10 serial numbers, I ONLY want to count those with a "letter" in them. (my answer would return 3)...
