I have a worksheet with numeric data, where some are preceded by non-numeric characters. I would like to average the all the values in the row, but the average function does not seem to consider the entries as numeric, so it didn't work.

Hi Everyone,
I need to average cells B13, E13, H13. However, sometimes the cells contain #N/A so I need it to ignore the cell when non numerical data is displayed.
Likewise I need to do the same with STDEV.

I want to average only those values which are greater than 0. pls modify this formula for the same
=AVERAGE($D$23:$AA$23)*3
THis is giving resutls of all cells either empty or containig zero. BUt I want to average only those which are greater than zero
