    Trying to get totals of one column from another column

    I have a column called sort_type that has different values in it like x, o, ooo, and another column called BoardFootage. I am wanting to compute the total boardfootage based off the value in the sort_type column within a certain day. So for instance on 3/5/2019 I want to know total boardfootage...
