    1904 date system error

    I've inherited a large timesheet in which hours greater than 99 need to be displayed. when i tried changing the cell format from hh:mm to d\d hh:mm and entered 7:15 in, the displayed results would read 1d 7:15. rather than the correct answer of 0d 7:15. I found that by turning the 1904 date...

    1904 and 1900 date systems

    Hi all, I'm having trouble with the Date System. In the same spreadsheet, it seems I need the 1904 system for displaying negative time values, however, this date system corrupts other time values fetched on a PivotTable (using sum calculation), which work as expected using the 1900 system...
