Suat M. Ozgur

Suat M. Ozgur has more than 20 years of experience developing applications with various programming and scripting languages mainly including Microsoft Visual Basic, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), Objective C (for mobile development), PHP, and JavaScript. He is a Certified Database Developer working with MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server databases.

Suat has worked nearly full-time for MrExcel.com between 2002 and 2009, as a VBA programmer for the consulting projects, and also as a web developer & server administrator. He also completed the major forum software migration at MrExcel Message Board that required advanced database administration skills. He moved on to work in a company located in Texas as Database Administrator & Application Developer between 2009 and 2013 and moved back to his home country at the end of 2013.

Suat has been actively developing database-driven web applications such as Product / Manufacturing Automation, Customer Relationship Management, and Content Management Systems by using Zend Framework and Doctrine ORM. He's been also writing tutorials on his own blog.

In early 2017, Suat again crossed paths with MrExcel.com and convinced Bill to rebuild MrExcel.com CMS. He is currently with MrExcel.com, and maintaining the dedicated server and huge database behind the leading Excel solutions website MrExcel.com, and feeling happy to be back home.

Suat currently lives in Florida with his wife, Muge, and their cat, Cuma.
