Unlock locked VBA Project

I have received an excel file with a locked VBA Project.
I have also received the password, but I have no idea
on what I can do to make Excel ask me for the password.
Whatever I try, I only receive a box telling me that the project is locked.

I Use Excel-97, but the file is made in Excel-2000.

Hi Bent

While in the VBE higlight the VBA project in the Project Explorer and go to Tools>VBA Project Properties/Protection.

I do remember reading somewhere that are some issues with unlocking VBA project in 97 that were locked in 2000.

Still can't access the properties because the project is locked.

Probably a 2000->97 problem.

I'll ask for an unprotected version.
