Rotate column headings to row headings; visa versa

Long ago I ran across a tip somewhere that said that
it was possible to make the column headings and the
row headings switch places. It was done with a built
in tool or option. I have looked and can't find it.
Can this be done? or was I dreaming?

I believe you are looking for TransPose. This will take the Column Headings and move them to the Column A
Example: Column = January1 - December in Column Headings.
It seems best to insert a new column for the New Column A
And a New Row 1 before you start.
Need to move to Column A1 - A12 (Months)
Copy A1 - A12
Click onPoint to Cell Address A2
PasteSpecial
Transpose
Click OK
